Fort Meow Demo

If you have a soft spot for cats, then by all means, do NOT stay away from this game. It’s so lovable; it perfectly compliments your (possible) cat addiction. Or it will help create one.

Fort Meow is too adorable to resist, even if you’re a diehard dog, person. After all, it’s a game about a little girl who goes into the attic, finds her grandfather’s journal and is instantly mesmerized by its content. However, unknown to her, cats are around, and they will pounce into her comfy lap if she’s not careful, thus running the lecture in the process.

To make sure she doesn't miss a single minute of any page, she builds a fort out whatever she can find in the attic and around the house. Sofas, TVs, brooms, pillows, lamps, if it can withstand a cat impact, it’s good.

Fort Meow features nicely implemented physics gameplay. The cats that jump from all over the place do a certain amount of ‘damage’ to your fort, so the pieces you use need to be sufficiently strong to survive the feline ambush. Different assault combinations exist so you will constantly have to redesign your fort.

Apart from actually building, there are other nice little gameplay features that make it that much more enjoyable. You can roam around different parts of the mansion to get new defensive items, use various powerups and even collect stamps.

I used both cat-related puns so I guess I can end this now. In closing, get Fort Meow. If you’re looking for a casual game, they don’t get more casual than this, plus, it’s super cute and fun to play.
