Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho

Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho is yet another release in the long-living series that is Farm Frenzy. Heave Ho is in most part the same as its predecessors, the big difference being the setup. This time, Scarlett ends up on a tropical island where some animals have taken on the pirate persona and lifestyle.

Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho plays out like all the rest from the series. It uses the same gameplay and from what I can recall from memory, even the tasks are the same. Whether the latter is true or not, Heave Ho is pretty much more or less any of the earlier previous versions but with a different look.

In each level, you have to complete a series of tasks that involve gathering produce from your animals and manufacturing other stuff from it using a series of factories and machines. You can sell the surplus, you still have to trap ferrets and bears, and the market delivery truck has been replaced with a boat, and the animals are pirates.

Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho, although doesn’t bring anything notably new to the table, is still going to be a pleasant game to play. Its simple nature and well-polished concept for gameplay make it relaxing and mildly challenging at the same time. Which is, what most people want from a casual game.

There are plenty of levels to play and a large number of short conversations between the pirate animals, all of which make the entire thing enjoyable. It’s easy to waste a good couple of hours with Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho.
