ExZeus 2 for Windows 8

ExZeus 2 is an arcade shoot'em up game in which you'll have to protect the Earth and its inhabitants from an unknown alien force that sent five remote controlled weapons of mass destruction towards some of the busiest cities on the planet.

A hundred years have passed since a ruthless alien force attacked the planet and were successfully put to silence by the three robots (Calista, Sophia, and Dynamis) created through the ExZeus project and the inhabitants of Earth carried on with their lives with only a dim memory on what happened such a long time ago.

Unfortunately, the situation is about to change as a group of five mysterious pods have crashed on the planet targeting some of its the most populated cities. Apparently these pods are weapons of mass destruction that can wipe out an entire city in seconds.

With the threat escalating, humans decided to reopen the ExZeus program and created a new and more powerful robot (Minos) by fusing the three initial robots that saved the planet during the first alien attack.

Minos is more powerful than all three robots before him but that doesn't mean he won't face a challenge. Sent to Megalopolis, Minos will have to face Orbis, a massive spherical alien robot capable of controlling any electronic device.

To cope with that, Minos is equipped with all sorts of powerful weapons that can be used to destroy the incoming enemies and reach Orbis in an epic battle between two giants.

While exploring the enemy-filled city streets, Minos will have to deal with both aerial and ground troops in various fighting sequences that range from flying to close combat.

Destroying enemies will give you experience points as well as gold coins and other items that will recharge your energy, shield, and lock ability. Later on, you will be able to use the coins earned during missions to apply various upgrades to your robot.

ExZeus 2 is a fun shoot-em up with lots of content that awaits to be explored. Although the graphics don't shine, the title will surely be enjoyed by younger gamers.
