Finally, I get to say that I’ve found a hidden object game that’s created to initiate newcomers to the genre. Also, it seems to have been built by someone who is just started out with this sort of games. Dracula's Legacy is a title that’s easy to play thanks to it’s very linear clue and puzzle solving sequences, which is perfect for novice hidden object players.
Dracula's Legacy features some of the most predictable puzzles and object combinations I’ve come across, and I’ve been through quite a bunch of these games. The game’s visual assembly needed a whole lot more attention to detail because most of the objects you can pick up and use are very easy to distinguish. Their blending with the environment could have been better.
Nonetheless, that makes it simple for new players to quickly make sense of what’s going on and what they have to do. While it is easy to collect the objects, some of the puzzles are relatively difficult.
When it comes to the gameplay, Dracula's Legacy follows the same pattern most of the other hidden object titles do. You click on objects, you find clues, you solve puzzles, open doors and move on into the story, chapter after chapter.
As far as the story goes, if you’re a fan of vampires and monsters of the dark, you might enjoy it. If not, it can all seem a bit too generic and predictable.
Dracula's Legacy is not perfect but it looks nice, and the world that’s created inside is interesting. If you fancy a story about vampires and love, you can give this a chace.
