Demolition Inc. is a fun strategy and puzzle game that requires players to plan the demolitions of cities on Earth to make more room for nature.

Cataloging Demolition Inc. as a strategy is a bit of a stretch, but this might be the best description. It’s not easy to put it in a certain genre, but that’s not all that important with this game. The most important aspect of Demolition Inc. is that is really fun. It’s a little bit more complicated than it lets on, but it’s rewarding to finish each and every level.

This is an indie game, which probably means that it's built by a small team with limited resources, although that’s not obvious. The developers from Zeroscale have done a good job, despite the fact that they are not a big studio with tons of money, especially in the physics department.

The players take the role of demolition worker Mike, who also happens to be an alien. He gets a simple task, to clean some of the major cities from the buildings and help nature get its rightful place.

Mike stays all the time in his UFO and creates havoc on the streets below. His missions are simple, demolish the buildings before the army arrives. Players don’t interact directly with the environment, which means that you can only influence what’s happening below.

As the game progresses, you get access to more and more tools. The basic idea is simple. For the most part, you’re messing with the traffic below in various ways, using oil slicks, glue, exploding cows, earthquakes, and so on.

When you place an oil slick, the car swerves and hits the buildings. If the impact if powerful enough or if there are some handy exploding barrels nearby, the building falls, and you get points. You must gather all the debris for points.

The best feature of Demolition Inc. is the physics engine that works well. With the exception of the initial behavior of the cars as they enter the level, everything else is decided by the player, which is nice.

The Demolition Inc. only has a few levels, but it should more than enough to help users decide if they want to get this one.
