Deep Blue Sea 2 Demo
Hunt for underwater treasure and collect rare artifacts in this colorful and relaxing match-three puzzle game. #Deep Blue #Match three #Hidden object #Sea #Underwater #Match-tree
The ocean may be largely unexplored and difficult to navigate without the proper equipment, but there are many wonders lying at its bottom. From lost treasure and rare artifacts, to ruins and wonderful creatures, the underwater world is a really magical place, so it’s no wonder that people came up with a variety of stories about it and what might lurk below.
Deep Blue Sea 2 is a match-three game with a few hidden object levels included for good measure as well, in which you get to explore the underwater world and hunt for treasure. The main goal is to gather as many rare artifacts, gems and gold as possible, which can then be used to purchase valuable equipment that can be used to ease your progress.
The match-three mini-games are as classic as possible, since all you have to do is move the items around in order to get three or more of the same type in a row. When this happens, the pieces disappear and you score points, while the entire structure drops down a little bit. Your goal is to get the artifacts to the bottom and collect as many of them as you can, because you receive medals depending on the number of artifacts you have managed to gather.
Each one of the characters you get to play with comes with a few special abilities they can use in order to ease your progress, most of which involve being able to destroy blocks with a single click. Naturally, these take a while to recharge and you cannot base your entire strategy on them, but it is also possible to purchase similar items from the available shops. Although you can only carry a limited amount in the inventory, they can really come in handy when the situations get a bit hairy.
As previously mentioned, there are a few hidden object rounds as well, although the number of backgrounds used for them is disappointingly low. Hence, you might grow tired of looking at the same picture over and over again, albeit looking for different objects. Fortunately, the graphics are really good and the artwork is beautifully drawn.
All things considered, Deep Blue Sea 2 can be the perfect choice for casual players who just want to relax every once in a while. Not only that, but there are enough levels to keep you busy for a very long time, especially since they gradually get more and more complicated as you manage to beat them.
