Deadstone Demo

Deadstone is a top-down shooter that cleverly combines tower defense and resource management features with an extensive character skill tree.

The story starts on the Icarus space station where scientists are working around the clock on various experiments. After an accident, a deadly bacteria started to spread around the station which slowly turned everyone into homicidal monsters.

Crash landed on Mars, near the Deadstone mining colony, you take the role of a private security operative called Blake who now has to do whatever it takes to stop the infection from spreading.

Depending on the chosen difficulty, you will have a number of colonists that you will need to protect from the incoming monsters. At first you'll start with a small pistol but, as soon as you defeat a few monster waves, you will be given access to the colony's armory from where you can purchase better weapons and ammo.

Each successful patrol mission brings you experience points that will eventually add up and increase your character's level. With each level-up, Blake will be able to spend a stat point on any of his stats.

Moreover, every second level-up, Blake will also receive a perk point that can be spent to purchase new perks enhancing the abilities of your character.

Before starting each mission, players will also be able to enter Defense Management mode, were they can setup mines and turrets on the field to gain the upper hand against large waves of enemies.

If you feel that the main campaign is too much for you, the game gives you the opportunity to play alongside a friend in co-op mode.

While in this mode, both players will gain access to all the features available in the single player campaign but, with a greater chance of success, as you will have someone to watch your back and prevent the monsters from reaching the colony.

Deadstone is an action-packed 2D shooter that brings elements from multiple genres under one roof offering a fun adventure that can also be experience alongside a friend.

The wide range of weapons, awesome Fallout-style perks, and interesting tower defense mechanics, makes Deadstone a must play for all the fans of the genre.
