Deadlings

Deadlings is a (somehow) cute 2D game in which zombies must do their best to survive a wide array of deadly mazes. You get to use your brain and control the brainless test subjects through all kinds of traps and situations where quick thinking and precision movement are important.

Deadlings is a good blend of casual gameplay with difficult levels that are well-suited for both laydback gamers and those who see a bit of a challenge. It provides a large number of levels to go through, and each new one gets a bit harder. The good part is that none of them are the same.

What you do in terms of character control is the same each time but at least the mazes are different. Moreover, there are four types of zombies that you will be using throughout the game, each one with his unique ability.

In Deadlings, before you begin each level you get to explore the blueprints of the maze and figure out a plan of attack. You get to use more than one zombie, and you can release them in any order and direction you want. It’s vital that you think things through because if one dies without completing its task, you won’t get a replacement.

As far as difficulty goes, you won’t break neither your mind or your fingers playing it. It’s that kind of game that you finish by repeating a level until you get it right. It’s not particularly fun but it might just do.

To end, Deadlings is a good choice for the casual gamer. It looks good, the controls are responsive, and there are plenty of levels to keep you busy.
