Danse Macabre: Moulin Rouge Collector's Edition

In a hidden object game, the rules are pretty simple. You are given a case, be it in human reality or in a fantasy world and you have to find all sorts of clues and solve puzzles in order to solve a murder or another kind of similarly unfortunate event.

Danse Macabre: Moulin Rouge Collector's Edition introduces you to the story directly, by presenting you with the death of Sophie, the main female entertainer at the Moulin Rouge. Immediately after, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec makes his appearance at your office door asking to help him by finding out who is behind for the dark event.

From that point on it’s up to you, Madame Rocher, to investigate and bring to justice the person responsible. Throughout the game you will meet multiple people which will contribute to the way the story develops, leaving you discover who is the murderer.

A lot of the objects and clues you need are left in plain sight, although that is something entirely different in hidden object games. Some items are easy to spot, others are well camouflaged in their surroundings while a few are hidden behind complicated locks.

Danse Macabre: Moulin Rouge Collector's Edition provides a consistent number of puzzles for you to solve, each one different from the other. They are not all complicated as the game is designed to be played by people of all ages and if you need help, it is provided through subtle hints or complete explanations.

Danse Macabre: Moulin Rouge Collector's Edition doesn’t bring anything new to the hidden object table but it does offer a decent challenge and throughout the game you’ll mostly feel as if you’re playing through an interactive mystery novel.
