Claws & Feathers

There are plenty of matching games out there and just when you think everything has been done, something like Claws & Feathers comes along. In this game you play the alpha bird who needs to guide a flock of angry birds in a quest to free and recover the eggs that were stolen by a bunch of not so nice felines.

Like in any matching game, you have to bring together three or more objects together, in this case frowning fluffy birds, and once you manage that, they are removed from the board, here they fly away. Gameplay is easy to master and at first the game will seem simple.

Once you make your way past the 3rd or 4th level, things get a bit more complicated because apart from freeing the eggs, you also have to complete an optional challenge that certainly sets your gears in motion. You will be asked to complete the level under a specified time, free trapped birds, bomb walls and much more.

From an aesthetic point of view, Claws & Feathers appears to be designed for the younger audience as well as for those a bit older who enjoy a colorful game and funny looking birds. Audio elements are nice but unfortunately they don’t seem to be diversified enough which after a while tends to diminish the amusement caused by the feathery avengers.

The boards on which you play come in various forms and with different tilesets which is a big plus since no one wants to look at the same level layout over and over again. Along with that, in Claws & Feathers you also have a series of achievements to unlock and if you are a perfectionist those really spice things up.

Of course, you might find certain downsides to the game but nonetheless, it is enjoyable, it offers quite a few real challenges and most importantly, its graphics make it really fun and an enjoyable experience.
