Chicken Invaders 5: Cluck of the Dark Side

There’s no time to rest for the champion chicken combatant. The mighty Henterprise, pride of the intergalactic chicken force, has reached Earth’s orbit and has set in motion a most diabolical plan. It’s up to you to stop it and the countless waves of pestering poultry that are heading your way.

Just as you make your way to your favorite Space Burger joint, a new and massive chicken ship approaches our planet to release a massive amount of black feathers with the intent of blocking the Sun, thus freezing everything on Earth. Even the domesticated chickens, which the space hens want to rescue, which doesn’t make much sense, but then again this is Chicken Invaders where nothing makes sense and that’s why it’s fun.

In Chicken Invaders 5: Cluck of the Dark Side, the threatening force comes in very large number but you will have plasma guns, long range lasers and high-tech high-powered kernel shooters which render the chickens ready for plucking. Be aware though, this army that spawns from the dark side of intergalactic hen house has a few new tricks up its sleeves.

Chicken Invaders 5: Cluck of the Dark Side doesn't stray at all from the classic look and feel of the previous adventures. Gameplay is challenging and fun as always, if not more difficult now, you get to explore a large number of galaxies and mount plenty of awesome and upgradable weapons to your ship.

There are secrets to unlock, epic boss fights and if you’re willing to share the chicken drumsticks with others, the game also offers a 4 player co-op mode.

Undoubtedly Chicken Invaders 5: Cluck of the Dark Side is an arcade game you will play. There’s no point in denying it, you can’t resist the urge to blast the feathers off of those fat birds that have way nicer sweaters than you do.
