Chante was once human, but was transformed into a fairy by what the sisters believe to be a witch.
She does not find this state of affairs particularly agreeable, so she travels with Elise in search of a cure. Although she claims to be the older sister of the two, sometimes you have to wonder, given how she acts...
Her transformation has given her one advantage: she is now extremely proficient at attack magic.
The hero of our story, Elise has set out on a journey to restore her sister.
She is honest, forthright and generally clear-headed, and also adores cute things; this translates into secretly being perfectly satisfied that her sister is a fairy. She's also a bit of a long-suffering young woman, though, as she's usually on the receiving end of Chante's pranks.
She wields a greatsword she acquired during her adventures that surprises many people, given her slim figure.
In any given area of a dungeon, there will be monsters. You'll have to defeat these monsters to proceed to the next area. Once you clear an area once, you can pass through it without defeating the monsters again should you leave the dungeon and return.
