CSI: Deadly Intent Demo

CSI is one of the most popular TV shows out there, since it has been running for quite a long time now and many famous actors have made an appearance in one or more episodes. Some of the seasons received a video game adaptation as well, mostly in the form of point-and-click adventure games that gave you the chance to bring criminals to justice.

CSI: Deadly Intent is based on the ninth season of the TV show and it allows you to emulate the actors and the actual forensic experts, in order to examine crime scenes and extract the necessary evidence. Once everything is clear and you have a definite suspect, you can head on and arrest him, although not before making sure of it by performing an interrogation.

The available cases are very varied and they involve everything from dead brides in hotel rooms, all the way to drowned TV hosts in rehab clinics. Regardless of the nature of the murder, the place, or the person, you must remember that your primary purpose is to examine and collect evidence, by observing the crime scene and collecting anything that might prove to be useful later, or provide you with more information about what happened before and after the murder.

As you may be aware, the objects that you collect must be sent to the lab in order to be analyzed further and discover everything they can tell about the scene. In the game, you get to work the lab equipment as well, which means that you will man the microscope and various other pieces of machinery that can instantly tell whether the object you are analyzing is relevant or not.

Visually, the graphics engine has been substantially improved since the last title, since a lot of work went into modeling the characters after the actual actors. Thus, you can enjoy the sight of Laurence Fishburne and all of the other members of the original cast. The landscapes are very detailed as well, not to mention the gory crime scenes and the victims themselves.
