Alien Shooter 2 Demo

The first Alien Shooter established itself as one of the most addictive and hardcore games on the market, especially thanks to its high difficulty level and challenging missions, as well as the very large number of enemies you had to face on a regular basis. The sequel aims to provide you with the same recipe, only with better visuals and even more aliens on the screen at the same time.

Part of what makes Alien Shooter 2 so addictive is the fact that you keep getting stronger and stronger as you manage to advance through the levels, gaining skill points that can be used to increase various attributes, including health, weapon accuracy and movement speed. These RPG elements make it easier to survive wave after wave of monsters, especially after you level up enough to achieve some of the more powerful perks available.

You character can handle a wide variety of weapons, all which can be used according to the amount of points you have put into its respective skill level. Hence, from pistols to flame launchers, you can choose the desired type of weapon you want to make your primary way of survival, since you will have to keep shooting for minutes at end in order to get out of the levels alive.

Another greatly improved chapter in the new installment is the graphic engine, which can now render a lot more creatures on the screen at the same time. Thus, from up to 10.000 monsters on the entire map, over 100 can attack you at once, all of which are handled on the screen at the same time. New weather effects and dynamic shadows have also been added, which bring a touch of realism to the game.

A new soundtrack is also available, formed out of a few new songs to keep you company through the missions. Although the tracks are very well chosen to inspire even more adrenaline into your veins, they are rather few and can get very repetitive if you play for longer periods of time. Other than that, you can also hear a sound each time you pick up a medikit or you level up.

Alien Shooter 2 puts three game modes at your disposal: Campaign, Survive and Network. The Survive mode pits you against unending hordes of alien creatures and you can go enter the Network mode to play the game with your friends. As far as the campaign is concerned, it features various missions that requires you to clear out entire maps, as well as defeat a boss critter before moving on to the next level.
