WARMODE
A first person shooter that features decent graphics and Counter-Strike gameplay. #First person shooter #Free to play #Online FPS #FPS #Shooter #F2P
WARMODE is an indie first-person shooter that pitches two teams against each other in the Counter-Strike manner. In fact, WARMODE can be one of the go-to games if you can’t afford to buy CS: GO, or when you don’t have the hardware to play it. However, don’t expect the quality of CS: GO or any of its gameplay polishing.
It’s nice if you don’t expect much from it
At a first glance, without actually installing the game, it feels like it’s going to be one of those pay to win games, the likes of which we’ve seen a lot of lately. Surprisingly enough, it doesn’t seem to be so. You get plenty of weapons to buy and use with in-game currency, and what is offered for actual money influences gameplay in no way (so far).
Visually, the game is decent, even if it doesn’t feel like so. However, you shouldn't necessarily compare it to other titles that provide the same style of gameplay, look at it like you would at an indie FPS. It makes more sense that way. As far as the gameplay itself is concerned, it’s relatively solid if you’re just looking for a quick means to enter team on team shootouts.
The game uses little system resources, and its low system requirements make it a good choice for those who don’t own powerful configurations. If you’re looking for a low to mid level quality online first-person shooter that’s also free to play, WARMODE is a decent choice.
Simplified gameplay because… shooting and reasons
WARMODE won’t get your blood pumping because of its rather shallow presentation and overall design. It is fast-paced, I can give it that, so for a Counter-Strike CoD hybrid with indie resources, it handles and plays well. The weapons are nice too, not very, but just enough to be able to enjoy seeing them and blasting enemies away.
The game will have a lot of hardship ahead if it doesn't polish and clean its act up. It doesn’t bring anything new to the table, and people will not flock to play a game that’s already looking prone to a lot of hacking.
Another free to play first-person shooter
WARMODE is a fairly generic game when it comes to most of its content. There are way better options, such as Warface, Survarium and if you have the gear for it, Dirty Bomb. However, if your PC can’t handle them, this one will do.
