Ultimate Burger Hunt

Ultimate burger hunt is a maze game where you have to lead a person through a number of mazes with many puzzles to solve. You will find monsters to avoid, blocks you must push into holes, bombs, etc. You also must complete each maze in a limited amount of time.

The goal in each level is to collect the Burgers (if any) and to reach the Money. Your ultimate goal is to find the Le Ra Geda burger which is the biggest burger in the world. The monsters have stolen it. Here is an informitive, yet spoil free guide to help you win Ultimate Burger Hunt.

This game was made way back in late 2002 and was my first attempt at a game without using a premade engine. This game was made from scratch but heavily based around Mark Overmars' maze game tutorial.

The game requires you to navigate the many mazes and reach the exit in a specified amount of time. You collect burgers along your way to increase your score. You will come across various obstacles to overcome and puzzles to solve. With this said, have fun..

Controls
Simply use the arrow keys to move your player around. To push rocks, simply walk into them.

Levels
The levels consist of enemies, walls, the Player, Burgers, bonus items that give you either more points or an extra life, boulders,dynamite and other surprises.

Enimies
There are three kinds of enemies on this game. Here is info about them:

Tricerotops: These dinosaur creatures simply move horizontily back and fourth everytime they hit a wall. You can only destroy them with dynomite.

Pirate Bird: These bird creatures simply move verticly back and fourth everytime they hit a wall. You can only destroy them with dynomite.

Ghost: These ghost creatures move around both verticly and horizontily so these are perhaps the hardest to dodge apart from when the other enimies are in formations. You can kill it with dynomite and temporirily turn it into a harmless bear by collecting a ring.

When you crash into a monster, you go bact to your starting position and lose a life.

Bonus Items
There are two kinds of bonus items. They are:
Present: Gives you points
Heart: Gives you an extra life

Hotkeys and Extras
esc - Quits game to windows. No prompt
F1 - Shows Help
S - Save Game
R - Restart level but lose 1 life
Enter/Return - Pause game
end - Quit to main menu
