Super Pang is a Flash made clone of the Super NES game with the same name. It’s based on the same gameplay but offers a lot less than the original.
A nice try but it comes short by a lot
This Super Pang is based on the idea of the SNES but visually it doesn't even come close. The arcade vibe of the original is completely absent in this fan-made game, this one looks almost cheap.
On the other hand, you can’t really expect for it to rise to expectations, after all it’s a Flash game. Favorable to it is the fact that the gameplay is pretty tough, just like in the SNES version. You and a friend have harpoon guns and the goal of each round is to split large bubbles into smaller and smaller ones until they disappear.
Simple fun of you enjoy basic things
Super Pang doesn't attempt to offer at least some of the charm which the original had. There is no upbeat song to listen to and the backgrounds, which were the easiest thing to implement in the game, look very bad.
This Super Pang is more of a dumbed down version instead of a fan-made recreation. It has similar gameplay with the same power ups and so on, even some of the level designs look alike but it’s not enough to make it a good game.
This version of Super Pang is what you can play when you can’t get your hands on the real thing. It’s nice in a Flash kind of way, but that’s just about it.
