Super Mario 3: Mario Forever
Super Mario 3: Mario Forever is another remake of the popular platformer that is know around the globe. This version follows the same story line, without there actually being one, in which you have to make your way across multiple and diversified worlds in order to save the princess from Bowser.
Great graphics and smooth gameplay
When it comes to looks, there are dozens of Mario inspired releases of all shapes and sizes but this one seems to deliver the game in just the right way. It looks great in all of its details, and it does have a lot of details that pop-up here and there, and most importantly, the controls are spot on.
The game runs flawlessly, no glitches or delays which makes it very easy to focus on every jump and fireball shot. From start to finish, it’s a wonderfully created source of enjoyment.
A few features to help you along
In Super Mario 3: Mario Forever, you are able to save your progress in one of three world pipes, enabling you to pick off where you left the game or start a new one against the clock or to find every little hidden coin.
Apart from the save feature, this Mario version provides checkpoints throughout the worlds, making it less frustrating for when you die. After all, it’s easier to start mid-way than it is to start from the beginning.
As usual, Super Mario 3: Mario Forever contains the secret levels that are hidden inside some pipes but it also brings a few more surprises when it comes to bonus levels and places you find coins.
Mario, the way it’s supposed to be
To wrap it up, as far as Mario games go, Super Mario 3: Mario Forever is a very well put together game. It looks great and plays just as well.
