This is Mario in all his SNES glory but revamped into 3D and believe me when I say that it works and it works really well.

All the hallmark traits of a Mario game are to be found in Super Kario - the superb playability, the smooth responsive jumping, the baddies, the multiple paths through each level, the power-ups , the bouncey music, the levels and warp-pipes - they're all here and lovingly recreated in DarkBASIC Professional.

Here are some key features of "Super Kario":

· This game is playable to the extreme, it really does feel like a true Mario title - the way he walks, jumps, turns, spins, it's all timed and honed to perfection. Never do you mysteriously fall off a ledge or fail to make a jump.
· The graphics are great. They might be based on the 2D original but Luis has recreated them all in 3D, all his own work and they're animated and colourful characters.
· The music, while being a Mario rendition, has also been lovingly composed to follow a similar theme whilst not totally plagarising the original.

· Great particle effects when you shoot, collect coins or dispatch baddies
· Good attention to detail, even the rebounding shells are in!
