Spartans vs Zombies Defense is a strategy game in which you'll have to help the Spartans led by the mighty king Leonidas to prevent entire hordes of zombie armies from destroying their castle.

As the story goes, mysterious portals have opened near Sparta and all of a sudden thousands of zombies started to come out from them putting in danger the life of all citizens. In an attempt to save Sparta from a terrible fate, Leonidas decides to lead the attack with the hope that the portals can be destroyed.

Each battle requires a bit of strategy, especially when considering the units you'll deploy during the battle. To recruit new units you'll have to wait until you collect the necessary resources either from your own production or from the incoming monsters.

As you manage to defeat one wave after the other, you will unlock more unit types that can help you withstand more powerful attacks. From swordsman, pikeman, and archer to cavalry, warlocks, and even witches, the only thing standing in front of your victory is your ability to choose the right unit type at the right time.

To have a better survival chance against more powerful enemy waves you can also upgrade your castle by increasing the maximum number of units that can be recruited or adding defensive towers.

Speaking of units, besides their variety, each one of them have multiple upgrade levels that will further improve their attack rating and life points. Moreover, Leonidas can also level up and acquire new powerful skills that will surely come in handy during key moments of each battle.

Although Spartans vs Zombies Defense is far from being well polished and it can surely use an update to its character design and animations, the game can be quite fun when played in small doses.
