S.K.I.L.L. - Special Force 2

S.K.I.L.L. - Special Force 2 is a fast-paced and very dynamic first-person shooter with the classic team on team shootouts. It’s a free-to-play title that has a lot to offer and uses Unreal Engine 3 to deliver good graphics and special effects.

It’s easy to rant about how S.K.I.L.L. - Special Force 2 feels like a pay to win title when you have the in-game shop available but just so as to get that out of the way, it’s not. A clear hint of that would have been if someone owns you and everyone else in 3 out of 4 games, but that’s not the case (provided you’re not a total newbie).

This could mean that S.K.I.L.L. - Special Force 2 has excellent matchmaking, which would explain why every game I played ended with really close scores. The graphics aren’t what you can call top-notch, but they aren’t bad at all. Using UE3, it makes it easy for players with lower hardware configurations to give it a spin.

When it comes to the gameplay itself, if you’re interested in the sheer quantity of action, S.K.I.L.L. - Special Force 2 can deliver. The game is fast-paced, combat is straightforward, and the shooting feels realistic as well.

You’d obviously compare this to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and, to be honest, this one feels more alive somehow. The maps are well designed, weapons behave excellently, and there are a lot of details which make Special Force 2 a really good game. You rarely have time to get bored.

S.K.I.L.L. - Special Force 2 is by all means a game you have to try if you’re a fan of the genre. Sure, the crouch-jump mechanic is simply terrible and spawning is a bit too random, there are other things that will annoy, but overall, this one is worth it.
