Red Sun Bird description
This is a really good game to play and a lot of thought has gone into it.
Here we are again... First things first - I really like this game. I'm not just saying that either, it is a really good game to play and a lot of thought has gone into it. So please, before you skip past it because the screen shot might make it out to be rather basic, do consider the fact it's only 1.43 Meg and give it a try.
Now - onto the game proper. There's no waffling plot, no complicated story, just
get in your ship and kill! Alien after alien decends upon you, you shoot at them, they shoot at you, hopefully they miss and you hit and you get to nick their power-ups. Repeat until you loose all your lives :) Classic arcade formula.
Here are some key features of "Red Sun Bird":
· The most important part of any game like this is the alien attack patterns and they have been done really well here. While some aliens do follow the more direct 'straight down' route, most have decent sweeping paths and on later levels are combined with other types of alien to make for a quite devastating attack.
· It's a very playable little game, I got totally sucked into it. Like a trip back to a video arcade in the 80's or something.
· Supports up to four players
