RadOS Review by
3.5/5

RadOS is one of the most unnecessary games ever created. Not only does it simulate one of the most unhappy days of a PC user’s life, OS updates, but it puts you in a predicament that can’t be left behind without raging a bit.

In RadOS things go as follow: you log into your OS account, and all of a sudden, an MS Office Assistant-like fella appears to tell you that there’s a restart coming your way, and you need to save all your work progress. You have just 30 seconds to do it or you lose everything.

It’s a scenario a lot of us have faced over the years and have hated ever since it first happened. RadOS aims to help you relive the ‘happy’ days of forced system restarts. A heads up, it gets very frustrating.

In RadOS, the gameplay is very easy to understand. You have to save your work progress and close the apps before the system restarts just like you would normally do on your computer. The difference is in the fact that at least you know you have to deal with when it comes to your PC.

With RadOS, you face some entirely different apps that either won’t go down quietly or prompt you for passwords and other stuff you have no clues about. You won’t be able to finish RadOS in the first few tries, if you ever do, but each time you start over, you learn something new about it.

However, since RadOS is meant to be a game that will make your day a living Hell, the apps change the order every time you restart. Sometimes they ask for something else and on other occasions things just don’t make sense.

The first time you play RadOS is out of curiosity, then you actually want to see what it takes to complete it. After a few tries, you get to see how tough it is. You muster up some ambition and as you try more and more, rage more and more. And then you’re hooked.
