Here we go again... Wow, a shoot-em-up with a plot! Each level of this 2D side-on shooter unfolds a little bit more of the story behind the mission. Not that we got far enough to find out what happens mind you (it's a quite hard game) but it's still a good idea and makes a change from 'Level Two', etc.
Here are some key features of "Phoenix":
· The graphics are pretty good - the big 3D mothership at the start is great
· It's quite fast, so you get a sense of the 'frantic' in there
· We liked the story mode
