Pepan Durak is a variant of popular card game. While standard Russian Durak is played with a deck o 36 cards, Pepan Durak is based on variant that is played with 32 cards, which is count typical for German cards.

Pepan Durak is a LAN game and can only be played on LAN networks.
Pepan Durak requires Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to be installed on the target system. The game was tested on Windows 7, Windows XP and Mac OS Leopard operating systems, but should work on any system with supported JRE.
The goal of this game is to get rid of all cards in your hand. The winner is the player who achieve this first. The last player who is left with all cards is called Durak. It is a game for two to four players.
If 2 players are playing, each player gets 16 cards at at the beginning of the game.
If 2 players are playing, each player gets 16 cards at at the beginning of the game.
If 2 players are playing, first two players gets 11 cards and the last player gets 10 cards.
One of the cards for each player is so-called trump card.
You must follow these rules:
If the pile is empty you choose one arbitrary card from your hand.
If the pile is not empty you have to
1. if your trump is not yet revealed:
a) You have to choose two cards from your hand. The first card must be of the same suit as the card on the top of the pile and must be higher than that card, the second card is arbitrary.
b) You can take cards. You will take the card from the top of the pile and all cards under this card that have the same suit (if any).
2. if your trump is already revealed:
a) You have to choose two cards from your hand. If the card on the top of the pile is of the different suit than your trump you can choose any card of your trump suit as the first card or you can choose higher card of the same suit as the on the top of the pile. If the card on the top of the pile is of the same suit as your trump, you have to choose higher card than that card of the same suit. The second card is arbitrary.
b) You can take cards. You will take all the cards currently on the desk.
