Simple gameplay that keeps you alert
Gameplay in Penguin Diner 2 solely relies on the use of your mouse and coordination. At the start of each day, you are presented with an empty diner to which penguins come to eat a nice cake or drink something delicious.
With a few clicks you have to show them to their tables, take and bring their order when they’re ready and after they leave, pick up the check and clear the table for a new customer. It’s all fairly simple but as you play, you quickly get to see where the difficulty kicks in.
At first things start of relatively slow but as more and more customers come in, you’ll have to remember which ones were first, and to plan your actions in a well thought out order so no customer remains forgotten at his or her table.
Equip your diner with the latest accessories from the Antarctic catalog
In Penguin Diner 2, each day, you have to earn a specific amount of money which is a bit larger than the previous day. To be able to pull it off you’ll have to move fast so that you can take and deliver all the orders. At the end of the day, you get to see how much is left in your pocket and if you can afford it, there are plenty of things to buy that will make the diner an even bigger success.
You can purchase new skates for Penny so she can move faster, get a better chef, buy new table cloths so customers leave more money and so on. The catalog is fairly big and you will need to think twice before buying because some things are expensive and can have a big impact.
A really nice casual game for a relaxed day
To sum things up, Penguin Diner 2 is a very good choice if you’re looking to spend some casual time without cutting down on an actual challenge. It’s a game that fits all ages and can prove handy anywhere you are.
