Party Hard

What can you do when your neighbours are having a monster party at 3am and with no signs that it’s going to end sometime soon? Well, you do the noble thing and not call the police but grab a knife and head on over there.

In Party Hard you have to crash a boozefest that’s full of people with questionable morals who are disturbing the entire neighbourhood with all that terrible music. Or at least that’s what you tell yourself before you pick up a knife and go there.

The game’s idea is to kill everyone at the the party without being spotted by the others because they will call the police and rat you out. The main tool for reducing the number of party participants will be your trusty knife but you can also make a few ‘accidents’ happen.

Go turn on the gas in the kitchen or wait for someone to come into the bedroom to look out the window and then push at tree through the glass. A nice touch to the game is that if you do manage to pull off a kill and the cops have no actual idea about who did it, they will beat up a random guy who looks suspicious and take him down to the station. It’s also a bit of a real-life simulator.

Apart from the stove and tree bits, you also get to pick up a few drugs to freeze time and go on a short killing spree. No one will notice you while taking out people but you never really know how long the drugs will last so it’s a gamble. You might end up being spotted and you can use the drugs only once per game.

Party Hard is still in development and plenty of features and environment uses will be added. So far, it’s on the right track to being a really good game to kill time with.

To wrap it up, Party Hard is a neat little game to have around. Actually, you can even buy an extra copy for a neighbour that likes to party, you know, as a head’s up, or as a joke.
