Mario Kart PC 360
When you hear Mario Kart you instantly think of a fun race between some of the most famous game characters ever. When it comes to Mario Kart PC 360, you should replace the word ‘fun’ with ‘difficult’.
Simple gameplay that that offers very little
Since Mario Kart PC 360 is intended to be a racing game, there is no storyline. You simply choose the character you want and start the race. As far as racer options go, you have a few in the form of ‘Mario’, ‘Luigi’, ‘Peach’, ‘Toad’, ‘Yoshi’, ‘Donkey Kong’, ‘Wario’ and ‘Bowser’, all of which look fairly nice in their cars.
Apart from that, you get to opt for one of four initial power-ups that can be used at the beginning of the race. And that’s that, nothing more the 16 circuits of which you have to complete four laps and appear in a random order.
A bit hard to drive in a straight line
The most annoying thing you will find about the game is the fact that no matter what character you choose, the cars simply can’t go in a straight line when you want it to. It’s a separate challenge all on it’s own to be able to go straight ahead without having to make several direction adjustments.
Seeing as how your opponents will have no problems with that, basic math will teach you that you’re going to have a really hard time catching up to them, even if you use all the banana, mushroom and shell cups. The controls will be a bit frustrating if you don't have the willpower to master them.
To make things worse, the opponent’s cars will not be slowed down when they go off track and at times, some will even drive over the barricades.
Not really worth it
It’s fairly simple to conclude that Mario Kart PC 360 is not worth much attention even if we are to take into account that it is an old game which was built on different standards. The cars remain difficult to control and at times the way they behave simply doesn't make sense.
