What is Jelly Wars?
Jelly Wars is an independent computer game, which means that it is made by a small non-profit team of talented programmers, artists, composers, and designers for fun and enjoyment. The game is downloadable for free on this site, and can be enjoyed by all ages. The Jelly Wars community is easy to get involved it, whether via Fan Art, Fiction, Music, or Fan Mods or Levels.
What is the game like?
Players begin by designing their own character (Jelly) using the unique Jelly Workshop system. After appearances, stats, and moves are selected, the character is stored in a file on the computer. The Jelly can then be loaded into the game and used to duel with other friends' own characters in a vibrant bird's-eye-view world.
Jelly Wars boasts over over 200 different appearance combinations, more than 40 unique moves and abilities, multiple versus stages, a user-friendly interface to create and load Jellies, and One-Player Missions Mode!
What is the Jelly Wars Community up to now?
The Jelly Wars source code files have been released for download so that Jelly Wars fans can create their own mods and play around with the interface. The best spin-offs are hosted in the Extras Section. Also fans are encouraged to submit Artwork, Music, or Fan Fiction pieces.
