From time to time, a movie comes along that creates a lot of hype around itself, and it manages to build a massive fan base in a relatively short time span. When that happens, everyone tries to get a piece of the action and a plethora of related products hit the market at the same time. Naturally, the easiest way to do that is to create video games featuring characters from the said movie.

Frozen Sisters in Cinema is quite obviously based on Frozen, Disney’s major hit from a while ago. In short, this is a basic makeover game in which you get to apply makeup and choose the outfit for both Anna and Elsa as they prepare to go out and see a movie. As simple as that might sound, the fact that it features the two famous animated characters is what gives the game enough traction to get away with it.

To begin with, the gameplay is split into multiple phases, because we all know how much time it takes girls to get ready before leaving the house. Hence, you start by applying simple makeup and various other such beauty treatments, after which you choose the clothes and the accessories that go along with them. You have to do this for both girls, which is practically double the fun.

To avoid getting repetitive and boring after a while, the game provides the players with quite the hefty number of options when it comes to outfits, makeup colors and accessories. As such, it is pretty difficult to end up with the same results in the beginning, although things start to repeat themselves in a rush anyway. Since this is not supposed to be very complicated in any case, it’s not too much of a bother.

What is important is the fact that the game needs to look nice in order to attract the necessary attention. The characters must look a lot like the ones from the movie and make it easy for the children to pretend that they are really interacting with their idols. Thankfully, the game achieves this with ease and everything looks about as close to the actual movie as possible.

While Frozen Sisters in Cinema is certainly not as intriguing or as complex as the actual movie, which is not too much of a riddle by itself anyway, the game has all the elements needed to provide the children with some fun. Hence, if your kids are big Frozen fans, this might keep them occupied for a short period.
