Elsa from Frozen quickly became one of the most recognizable cartoon figures in the world, thanks to the massive success the Disney-produced movie enjoyed. Hence, there’s barely anyone out there who hasn’t heard about her, which is why there are so many spin-offs and products featuring the little princess. Obviously, video games happen to be one of the easiest ways to do just that.

Elsa Prom Night is a dress up game featuring the lovable princess from the movie, in which you have the liberty to choose her outfit for the prom night. In essence, you can decide everything from the makeup, all the way to the shoes and the accessories that go along with the chosen outfit. There are no wrong answers, and you can basically do everything you want, as long as the results are pleasing to you.

Thankfully, there are many different dresses, skirts and shoes to choose from, all of which come in various colors and models. It can be a challenge to match them properly, but since you are not penalized in any way, every combination is good as far as the game is concerned. Adding accessories is a pretty tough job, although you can just go with your instincts on that one.

Unlike in most makeover games, the makeup part is a lot more interactive and tricky, because there’s the off chance to end up with Elsa looking like a clown. In essence, you can choose the desired eyeshadow and apply it manually using mouse movements, which is a lot tougher than it sounds. However, you get a lot more control over the end result this way, and a lot more options are possible.

The visual component is well-refined as too, because it allows you to practically pain on Elsa’s face like you would in real life, and every smudge is clearly visible. The clothes and the accessories are very detailed as well, although there are no animations to truly make them stand out. A fun soundtrack plays in the background as well, which should keep you alert at all times.

Even if Elsa Prom Night is clearly aimed at the younger audience, due to its simplicity, every Frozen fan should be able to enjoy it at least a little bit. Hence, the game can reach a wide variety of players and keep them entertained for a long time.
