Clicker Heroes
A casual game in which all you have to do is click, click, click to do tons of damage and kill monsters. #Click to kill #Kill monster #Clicking game #Click #Clicker #Monster
Clicker Heroes, the game that absolutely and utterly abuses the most basic and addictive kind of gameplay known to man: clicking. All you have to do is click like a madman to do damage to cute looking critters to kill them. What’s worse/good is that after a point, you won’t even have to click anymore.
In Clicker Heroes, your first few levels require that you click some monsters to deal damage and kill them. Once the enemy dies, a new one takes its place and you have to click-attack that one too and so on until… infinity and beyond.
You get several types of monsters to deal with and occasionally, the big boss that has tons of HP. As you reach higher game levels and earn the big bags of gold, and new heroes become available. What heroes? Well, after a while you can hire characters that automatically do damage per second to the evil minions. The more you spend on them, the more damage they do and the faster you kill monsters. After a while, you just watch the game play itself and occasionally click to purchase a new hero or upgrade the existing ones.
Clicker Heroes’ approach is more than interesting because it takes advantage of the kind of gameplay that’s brain-dead pleasant and just keeps you staring at the screen, watching how the enemy health bar quickly drains away. I’ve looked at least ten times at the game window to see just that while writing this paragraph.
To be honest, Clicker Heroes is appealing just because it’s almost ridiculous, but in the good kind of way. It’s a laidback game that knows it’s fun to watch and relaxing to ‘play’. It knows you can’t stay away.
In all fairness, Clicker Heroes is the least challenging game I have ever come across. There’s no difficulty to it; there’s nothing you need to do that requires brain input. You just stare and stare at the screen. The good part is that you can just leave it running in the background and play something else then come back to it when you have enough gold to buy a new hero or upgrade it.
Seriously, how is this even a game? And, why don't I wan to quit it?
