Certainty Condition is an immersive and well thought out game that places you in a Victorian mansion in which things are strange, puzzling and intriguing at the same time. You are a traveler in a space where notions of physics and philosophy fuse in unusual ways to create challenging puzzles.

Certainty Condition is designed to be a challenge and a clever one at that. It’s the brainchild of three people who have invested thought and time to create something that is atemporal and seemingly not of this world.

Although you can easily identify most of the object around, because they belong to a world you know, there are several objects that are not. It’s with those that you interact and use to solve the puzzles ahead of you. Some solutions are very easy find and when you do, the game rewards you not only by allowing you to advance further ahead, but by manipulating the surroundings in a fascinating way.

Certainty Condition comes with some pretty good graphics although there are a few glitches here and there. However, these will easily be overlooked because it’s difficult to focus on them when the game offers a captivating experience.

Gameplay consists of moving from one room of the mansion to the next, while mechanics rely on you to rotate and scale the various objects that you can pick up. One thing in particular that sets the mood and makes the game get a better hold of your mind is the wonderful narrative that accompanies your journey. It offers more meaning to where you are and what you are doing in a way that’s helpful but not too revealing.

To sum things up, if you’re looking for a game that will get your brain active and your creative thought process tested, then you need to try Certainty Condition. It’s a very enjoyable experience, except if you press the Space key. Whenever you do that, the game resets and takes you straight to the beginning.
