Zak was a resident of the Squirrel village once and a very good scientist, he discovered a cure for the common cold, an invention that could find all lost acorns buried in the ground long ago. And invented machines that could clean your shoes for you, that one was a little pointless since Squirrels don't wear shoes...

Anyway the point is he was/is quite brilliant. He had been working for a long time on something secret and when the day came to reveal it, things didn't go to plan. He had worked on a new breed of animal that were obedient and intelligent that could help the Squirrels in their daily life.

Zak opened the cage holding the test specimens, The Snails inside quickly lunged out and attacked the nearest Squirrel who got badly hurt. Only Buzz, The bravest squirrel in the village could fend them off by quickly stomping on them both.

Instead of cutting his losses, Zak persevered however and created more and more mutants that would become his army, he did not intend for them to attack Squirrels on sight but he could not find any way to fix this.

The local council decided to throw Zak out the village as his work was dangerous to the well being of the village. He was banished for life to live alone outside the forest. Nobody heard from him until that day.

So Buzz awakens from his flashback, And hears a noise coming from a cupboard. He opens it to find the village elder cowering inside.
Elder "Oh Buzz my boy i'm so glad you're back. They came and took everyone away!"
Buzz "Who?"
Elder "Those snails, Zaks snails. Just before you got back, if only you had been a day of two earlier"
Buzz "*Sigh*, where is he now?"
Elder "They said his base is in space somewhere,I had a spaceship once... many years ago."
Buzz "Really? Where is it? You're sure you had one."
Elder "in a cave somewhere, I lost it many years ago"
Buzz "Right many years ago. Well it's my best bet unless I can learn to fly and breathe in space."
Elder "Take care young'un it's dangerous out there, no doubt Zak has placed a million traps for you."
Buzz "I'll do what I have to, Lets hope i can find this space ship somewhere out there"

Is time to go in a new adventure!
