This classic was really an evolution of Pong only this time it's your paddle and ball vs. a whole array of coloured blocks.

This classic was really an evolution of Pong only this time it's your paddle and ball vs. a whole array of coloured blocks. Variations on the theme over the years added much needed items like multi-ball, power-ups, aliens and the ability to fire from your paddle.

This version sits somewhere in the middle of that lot. It's a proficient rendition of the Atari masterpiece but with a few power-ups thrown in for good measure. This being said, let the games begin...

Here are some key features of "Breakout":

· Very responsive controls - you really are in control of the paddle (wish the same could be said for the ball!)
· We loved the noise the ball (barrel?!) made when it hit the paddle
· Some power-ups (paddle extension, ball slow-down being the most useful).
