Although we've never seen this game in the arcades it was a home computer mini-hit spawning a number of sequels. The eponimos hero of the title flies around the level in his little red cape, defusing the bombs as he goes while avoiding the robots, birds and other pests. Don't take too long or it's game over. Here are some key features of "Bomb Kid":

· The graphics are superb, very akin to the original and the arms flap, the robots trundle about and the bombs spark
· Good backdrops based on the originals
· Good gameplay to see if you can finish the levels
· Hint: Don't hold the space bar down! Just press it once for a mega high jump otherwise it'll frustrate the heck out of you :)
