Barbie Frozen Wedding

Frozen is an animated movie that managed to gain a massive following after it was released, thanks to a touching story and the cute characters that were part of the action. As per usual, people from all over the world started to put Elsa and all the other characters into various fan art projects, as well as video games, for what it’s worth.

Barbie Frozen Wedding is an obvious mashup between the two beloved worlds and it’s actually a dress up game in which the players have to choose the outfit for Barbie, who’s a bridesmaid at her friend’s wedding. To make matters more interesting, the wedding happens to have a Frozen theme, which means that you get to play with outfits from the movie and pick the ones that look best to serve as Barbie’s bridesmaid outfit.

The game is no different from the rest of the dress up games out there, with the exception that you do not get the chance to apply makeup as well. However, the selection of clothes seems to be a bit heftier than usual, especially when it comes to skirts and dresses. Plenty of shoes and accessories are available as well, not to mention the hairstyles and the jewelry.

Due to the fact that each item you place on Barbie is kept in a separate layer, you have the option to remove them with a single click. The layer panel is constantly displayed on the screen, so you can see whether there’s something sticking out when there shouldn’t be. This also makes it a lot easier to keep track of all the clothes and accessories you encumber Barbie with.

Visually, the game is about as colorful as you would expect, especially when it comes to the clothes. Every item is brightly colored and even sparkling in some cases, to make the fairytale-like experience a bit more obvious. Unfortunately, everything is a bit static and boring, which gets substantially more annoying the more you have to play it.

Although Barbie Frozen Wedding has a few flaws that might make it a failure with the mature audiences, the game is just right for young children that need something colorful to keep them occupied. Hence, it certainly has its purpose and the selection of outfits is not bad either.
