Asteroid - ES is a freeware remake of an old arcade classic, with updated graphics, controls and game play.

Asteroid - ES is a freeware remake of an old arcade classic, with updated graphics, controls and game play.

It was designed and built off of the Epoch Star space game engine, but utilizes old fashioned controls (joystick and/or keyboard arrow keys) instead of the mouse.

Updated features include 3-dimensional polygon graphics and texture-mapping, multiple weapon and ship statistic variances, ship "power-ups" upon completion of each level, new reverse key (ship can now go backward, as well as forward), and surprise enemy spaceship attacks.
