One of the best things about A Pirate’s End is the fact that the entire narrative is presented in the form of witty rhymes. The writing is top notch, and it is clear that quite a bit of work went into creating the descriptions.

Should your first attempt at finding the treasure prove unsuccessful, you can return after a few years to continue the quest. Age will make our protagonist wiser, but sailing between islands will also take more time.

In the end, the pirate’s fate is unlikely to be a happy one, even if you manage to find the chest that was hidden long ago. As is often the case, however, the journey is a lot more important than the destination, and A Pirate’s End certainly provides you with a fun adventure.
