Hellgate: London is a role playing game with a large dose of hack and slash that takes place in a post apocalyptic London.

The game is played from a third person perspective and has you killing all sorts of small and gigantic creatures using special abilities and powerful weapons. The game offers six playable classes, each with its unique skills and attributes which you can use in combat.

On the hack and slash side of things, Hellgate: London features a randomized drop feature which means that what weapons you find at one time will not be dropped on a second visit to the same place. There are over a hundred weapons scattered throughout the game, and when dropped, each one is imbued with a random magical affix.
