StarCraft II is the much awaited sequel to the popular RTS game which picks off from where the story of the Brood War expansion ended. It remains faithful to the original gameplay, bringing back almost all the well known units and adding a few new ones which are meant offer more diversity.
The game can be played in both single player campaign and online against one ore more opponents. After a decade since the first release in the franchise, StarCraft II delivers great looking graphics and an enhanced gameplay with new mechanics.
You get to play as one of the three races, Terran, Protoss and Zerg each with its unique units, abilities and strengths. Building an army and destroying the opponent base remains the main goal of each game you play but the tactics you use might not work to your advantage all the time.
The game experiences various bugs and shortcomings now and again and for this reason a number of patches are created and released to the public. The current one is meant to fix a bug where workers would harvest minerals from areas where the resource was not visible.
