Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Demo

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the forth installment in the CoD series and the first Modern Warfare to see the light of day. The first-person shooter was a real success as multiplayer maps and mods are still being developed and played by an active community.

You will have take on the role of different characters throughout the game: British John "Soap" MacTavish, Sergeant Paul Jackson, Captain John Price. You will also take the role of other different characters whose missions are quite short and the gameplay here is pretty linear. For example you play as a president who's being executed by a firing squad.

The game focuses on two different fronts: you will have to travel to Russia where a civil war has began and you must kill the president of a country in the Middle East that has anti-Western views and threatens the United States of America. You will also get to fight in Azerbaijan and in the abandoned city of Pripyat, Ukraine.

This is the first in the Call of Duty series to use modern day weapons. Players will be able to experience (sniper) rifles, pistols and even a Javelin weapon. You will get to drive various armored vehicles and perform airstrikes.

The game features a singleplayer campaign and various multiplayer maps users can enjoy. The multiplayer mode is based on experience points. The points can be earned by completing various objective or killing enemies. The more points you'll have the better your perks will be: better weapons, more ammo or even increased damage.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare still remains a great first-person shooter game where both single player mission and multiplayer modes keep players glued to the screen for hours!
