Warmonger Operation Downtown Destruction
A first person shooter that combines once new technology for a thrilling experience. #Downtown Destruction #Warmonger #FPS #Destruction #Assault #Riffle
Warmonger Operation Downtown Destruction is a rather old first-person shooter but back in the day, it had something new in its flavor pallet, NVIDIA PhysX technology. With that piece of software tech equipped, players could enjoy more world destruction than in other games.
A thing you notice right away is that shooting at stuff kind of destroys that stuff. This is where PhysX comes into play, enabling you to blast to pieces almost all the surrounding environment to enjoy more good looking chaos.
Visually, by today’s standards, Warmonger Operation Downtown Destruction goes in the descent games category. The number of arenas you get isn't all that great but they are well designed. As far as battlegrounds go, you find yourself somewhere between close quarter combat and sniper rifle appropriate environments which is good because you won’t get lost trying to find someone to shoot at.
Warmonger Operation Downtown Destruction doesn’t offer all that many weapons but they do their jobs. Each one has a primary and secondary fire and recoil is something that actually and really exists.
The post apocalyptic atmosphere is great for gameplay and you can almost say that Warmonger Operation Downtown Destruction is a fast paced combat game. Shooting and dying happen fast but moving around can seem boring when compared to other arena style shooters. Although, that actually has to do with the weapon you’re carrying. A light weapon makes you run faster while a rocket launcher that could take out 4 tanks with one rocket can make you move a bit sluggish.
The game uses Unreal Engine 3 and from that piece of information you can easily conclude that animations are fluid and make for an overall well polished game.
On a closing note, Warmonger Operation Downtown Destruction is best played with a few friends since it has the multiplayer feature. Bots in single player are rather bad but it’s still fun to shoot them down. If you’re looking to take a look at how good things looked back a couple of years, you can definitely check this game out.
