The Warcraft movie is one of a limited number of projects based on video games that shows signs that it might actually offer a decent experience for both long-term fans of the universe and those who lay eyes on it for the first time.

A short teaser for the film has now leaked, courtesy of AGB, allowing gamers to see some of the main characters, as well as some action scenes, which is cool even if the footage is relatively low quality, and the sound is almost impossible to understand entirely.

The Warcraft movie will not be connected directly to the video games with which it is associated, and the story will focus on the initial contacts between the humans and the orcs and how distrust quickly escalated into open conflict.

The cast includes a range of known actors, including Travis Fimmel, Ben Foster, Paula Patton, Dominic Cooper, and Rob Kazinsky.

The filming process is done and at the moment the project is in the editing phase, with a trailer probably set to arrive in a few months to start the promotional campaign.

The Warcraft movie is set to be offered in cinemas all over the world on June 10 of next year.

The development team at Blizzard is already working on a new expansion for the World of Warcraft MMO, which will be called Legion and will add a range of new mechanics.
