The long-awaited New Game Plus mode for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now live on the Xbox One home console from Microsoft, and it seems that it will also be offered on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the PC later in the day.

CD Projekt RED has not yet offered an official announcement about the downloadable content, which is designed to allow gamers to take another run at the campaign once they finish it for the first time.

Certain items will carry over and so will the experience and the skills that Geralt has acquired, but there's a whole range of other equipment that will not be moved over.

Microsoft had posted other DLC associated with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before CD Projekt RED delivered them on other platforms.

New Game Plus is the final piece of free new content for the game, but the development team is continuing to work on the title.

There are two expansions that should be offered, expanding the story of the game with about 20 hours’ worth of adventure each, with one set to arrive before the end of the year.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has recently also received a Modkit on all platforms, which is designed to allow the community to tweak the game however it sees fit and to create entirely new experiences starring Geralt.
