The Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt Red confirms that the extended delay of the New Game + free DLC for the RPG is close to ending, as an internal release date is already known. Fans will get an actual reveal in the near future, once everything gets nailed down.

The Witcher 3 got a lot of different free updates and content ever since its launch in May. From plenty of bug fixes and new features to fresh gear, quests, or outfits, the RPG's already-impressive content was enhanced in various ways.

The last bit of free DLC was revealed to be a New Game+ mode, which allows players to restart the story, while keeping their level progression and gear. The add-on was supposed to arrive after patch 1.08, and seeing as how the update launched last Friday, fans are getting a bit anxious.

While talking on Twitter, Community Manager Marcin Momot mentions that an internal release date is already set by the studio for internal use. Fans will get an actual reveal of the official launch date in the near future, once everything gets nailed down.

As such, The Witcher 3 owners across PC, PS4, and Xbox One should look forward to the debut of the add-on in the near future, probably this week.
