The prize pool for The International tournament for DOTA 2 has gone over the 15 million dollars (13.5 million Euro) mark and it seems that at the moment the team at Valve does not have any ideas for more stretch goals for it to continue to convince fans to offer their money via the Compendium.

The special Immortal Axe and a new comic are offered to all members of the community who have used their money to augment the prizes that will be offered in the competition.

The DOTA 2 The International event will take place between August 3 and 8 and gamers will be able to attend the finals in KeyArena in Seattle, which can host more than 17,000 of them.

16 of the best teams in the world will deliver exciting matches, and all the action will be streamed so that fans can watch it even if they are cannot be there in person.

It's unclear whether Valve plans to introduce another set of rewards or if it is happy with the prize pool as it stands at the moment.

DOTA 2 is one of the most popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena titles on the market and is constantly getting new content and updates from the development team.
