Street Fighter V will be a big event for the fighting game community and the development team at Capcom has been relatively unwilling to offer details about the characters that gamers will be able to choose from.

Now Siliconera is quoting sources that say that the title will include both Alex and Urien from Street Fighter III Karin Kanzuki and R. Mika, who have only appeared in the Alpha series.

It's unclear how the characters will be portrayed, given that neither of them appeared in more than one title in the series.

The development team will probably seek to give them a new set of skills and a clear visual identity.

Capcom has not reacted to the report, but an official reveal for the four characters might take place in the coming weeks.

Street Fighter V will offer a new take on the traditional series, created using Unreal Engine 4, offering gamers more defensive options and a range of ways to interact with the various arenas.

It seems that the title will also include a stage set in Brasil, although no details about it have been offered.

Street Fighter V is set to be launched on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and on the PC at some point in March of next year.
