The development team at Capcom has recently run a number of stress tests linked to the coming Street Fighter V, and the company is now ready to deliver more details about the beta testing period for the fighting game.

In a Unity blog post, the developers explain that the worldwide beta test is set to start at 4 PM Pacific Standard Time on Friday, August 28, in all territories, with the end date set for September 2 at 7 AM PST.

For the five days, Capcom promises a continuous Street Fighter V experience, except for the moment when the servers need to be taken down for maintenance.

The company explains that "Although we want you all to experience the awesomeness that is Street Fighter V during this time, please note that this is a beta and users may run into connectivity issues. This data is extremely helpful to us, as it will ensure that the final product will have the most optimal net code."

Gamers should try to run the beta for Street Fighter V using a wired Internet connection instead of Wi-Fi, because the first one is more stable, and they should also refrain from downloading other content in the background to make sure that bandwidth is not an issue.

The fighting game is supposed to be launched in March of next year on the PC and the PlayStation 4.
