Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void is the final chapter in one of the most important real-time strategy titles of all time and the development team at Blizzard is aiming to give players more details about the story of the title before it is finally launched.

A new storyboard trailer for the installment allows gamers to take a look at the way the Protoss race plans to enter the galactic stage in a big way by once again taking control of their ancient homeworld of Aiur.

Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void will focus on the known figure of Artanis, the capable warrior and strategist who needs to deal with the splintered tribes of his race in order to create a powerful enough force to defeat the threat that aims to extinguish life in the galaxy.

Blizzard has explained that gamers will have to decide which units they want to use in the single player, closing off several options as they progress in the campaign.

When it comes to the multiplayer of Starcraft II, the coming Legacy of the Void expansion will introduce new units that will force gamers to adapt their play style and find new ways to deal with enemy units.

Whispers of Oblivion is a three-mission prologue for the game which can be played by all those who played a pre-order.

Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void will be offered on the PC on November 10 of this year.
